Hiking and Walking Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy for Hikers and Walkers
Compared to many of the other activities that often require physical therapy, hikers and walkers with pain might not feel that their limitations or goals are great enough to spend time in physical therapy.  Hiking and walking transmit forces through your body at 2-3x your body weight with each stride.  Hikers and walkers often experience low back pain, hip pain, knee pain and/or foot and ankle pain (esp. plantar fasciitis).  At BreakThrough Physical Therapy we take a comprehensive approach and evaluate all related tissues to be sure we are helping you progress as quickly and effectively as possible to help you return the lifestyle you desire.

I never thought I’d get the strength and endurance back to be able to do this.  Look at me now.
