Growing up in northern China, Lu spent much of his childhood skiing and snowboarding in the mountains. It was during a period of injury recovery from one of these activities that he first discovered the transformative power of physical therapy, and he quickly fell in love with the field.
After completing his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at Arizona State University, Lu went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Elon University in North Carolina. He has since gained extensive experience working with patients of all ages and abilities, including those with orthopedic, neuromuscular, vestibular, and amputation-related injuries. He is dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and approaches to physical therapy, and is passionate about learning new skills such as lymphedema drainage and pelvic floor therapy.
In addition to his work as a physical therapist, Lu remains an avid action sports enthusiast. He loves to snowboard and ski, and also enjoys surfing, rock climbing, and mountain biking. He believes that an active lifestyle is essential to overall health and well-being, and strives to help his patients achieve their own goals and pursue their passions.
